Ukraine Unveils Last Shadow T200 Drone Interceptor Featuring Video Anti-Spoofing Tech

Ukrainian company Ukrainska Bavovna presented its new Last Shadow T200 interceptor aircraft during an event organized by the Technological Forces of Ukraine association, according to Militarnyi on August 12.
Designed for urban defense and front-line combat during Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the drone targets aerial threats including Shahed/Geran, Gerbera, and Molniya UAVs.

Development began last year, and the system and its warhead are already codified. The aircraft reaches a maximum speed of 300 km/h, has an operational ceiling of 5 km, and offers a flight endurance of 1 hour at cruising speed or 40 minutes at higher speeds.
It features 7 kg of thrust, an ascent rate of 35 m/s, and a initial stated operational range of 70 km, though recent combat testing demonstrated a distance of 122 km while maintaining quality video links.
Equipped with a movable camera that shifts up and down to enhance target searches, the interceptor also incorporates a video channel and frequency-switching system to counter the Russian Shtora video-spoofing mechanism.
Its codified warhead uses a customizable initiation board triggered by pulse-width modulation (PWM) signal upon engagement.
"It has a very good power reserve. Around 7 kg of thrust. In fact, much less is used. So the motor and propeller here can actually pull two such planes. It reaches 35 m/s — this is a very good indicator," noted a representative of Ukrainska Bavovna.
The airframe is currently produced using 3D printing, but the manufacturer plans to transition to casting within a few months to increase structural strength and enable reusable landings.
Developers are also integrating an automated target-tracking module into the Last Shadow T200, allowing pilots to lock onto targets via a switch toggle for autonomous engagement.
Ukrainska Bavovna maximizes local component sourcing within Ukraine and serves as an integrator providing joint R&D, testing, and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) services to international partners.
Crew training is conducted in partnership with the Dovzhyk pilot school, where over 70 veterans train operators across various unmanned systems, including interceptor models.
On August 10, Ukrainian defense firm F-Drones unveiled an upgraded anti-drone interceptor, the LITAVR+, designed to counter jet-powered Shahed attack drones at speeds exceeding 400 km/h.
Company CEO Stanislav Khutor announced the system, which featured modified in-house engines, proprietary flight controllers, and specialized electronics while retaining the original form factor.
The UAV incorporated GPS-free navigation, terminal optical guidance, and a dual-camera imaging system alongside a 500-gram warhead. After finishing factory testing, the LITAVR+ underwent combat trials, where released footage demonstrated it successfully engaging and neutralizing a hostile jet-powered Shahed threat.
