Daily Update: Russia Loses 1,070 Troops, 28 Artillery Systems in One Day

Russian forces lost approximately 1,070 troops and one tank over the past day, according to the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces in its morning update on February 14.

Total estimated Russian combat losses since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, now stand at:

personnel: about 1,252,020 (+1,070);

tanks: 11,668 (+1);

armored combat vehicles: 24,031 (+3);

artillery systems: 37,282 (+28);

multiple-launch rocket systems: 1,645 (+3);

air defense systems: 1,300 (no change);

aircraft: 435 (no change);

helicopters: 347 (no change);

operational-tactical drones: 134,306 (+914);

cruise missiles: 4,286 (no change);

warships or boats: 29 (+1);

submarines: 2 (no change);

military vehicles and fuel tankers: 78,388 (+120);

special equipment: 4,071 (+1).

The General Staff noted that Russian forces continue to sustain significant losses as Ukrainian defense units repel assaults and disrupt offensive operations along multiple sectors of the front line. Data is being уточнено (clarified), according to the report.

Earlier, Russian companies posted record losses of 7.5 trillion rubles (about $78 billion) in the first 11 months of 2025, according to The Moscow Times. The share of unprofitable firms rose to 28.8% amid slowing economic growth, inflation, and ongoing sanctions, with the hardest hit sectors including oil refining, metallurgy, and mineral extraction.
