Daily Update: Russia Loses 1,130 Troops and 45 Artillery Systems in One Day

The Russian Army lost 1,130 personnel, 45 artillery systems and one tank over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on April 10.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, Russia’s total estimated losses have reached approximately 1,308,670 personnel.

Over the same period, Ukrainian forces have destroyed 11,848 tanks, including one in the past day, along with 24,375 armored combat vehicles, five of which were eliminated in the latest reporting period.

Artillery losses continue to mount, with 39,734 systems destroyed overall, including 45 in the past 24 hours. Rocket artillery systems remain at 1,724, while air defense systems stand at 1,341.

Russia has also lost 435 aircraft and 350 helicopters since the beginning of the invasion. Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces continue to target unmanned systems at scale, bringing the total number of destroyed operational-tactical UAVs to 229,771, including 2,232 shot down in the past day alone.

Losses in logistical and support equipment also remain significant. Ukrainian forces have destroyed 88,515 vehicles and fuel tankers, including 183 over the past 24 hours, along with 4,119 units of special equipment.

Russia’s fleet losses remain unchanged at 33 ships and boats, with two submarines also reported destroyed.

Over the same 24-hour period, Ukrainian Armed Forces engaged in 163 combat clashes with Russian troops, underscoring the continued intensity of fighting along the front lines.

Earlier, Ukrainian intelligence reports indicated that Russian forces have expanded their unmanned aerial systems units to 101,000 personnel, with plans to increase this number to 165,500 by the end of the year.
