Daily Update: Russia Loses 1,250 Troops, 11 Artillery Systems in One Day

Russian forces lost approximately 1,250 troops and four tanks over the past day, according to the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces in its morning update as of 8:00 a.m. on February 15.

Total estimated Russian combat losses since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, now stand at:

Over the past 24 hours, 205 combat engagements were recorded along the front line, the General Staff reported. Ukrainian forces said they continue to inflict losses on Russian troops and equipment while disrupting offensive operations across multiple sectors.
In particular, Ukrainian defenders repelled 59 assault attempts on the Pokrovsk axis alone.
According to the General Staff, Russian forces carried out 52 airstrikes over the past day, dropping 170 guided aerial bombs on Ukrainian territory. In addition, Moscow deployed 4,316 attack drones and conducted 2,875 shelling attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including 83 strikes from multiple-launch rocket systems.
Earlier, Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck a Russian BK-16 transport and landing craft near Novoozerne in occupied Crimea and hit an RSP-10 radar station near Hvardiiske on February 12. Additional strikes targeted a communications hub near Prymorsk in occupied Zaporizhzhia region and an ammunition depot near Novoekonomichne in occupied Donetsk region.
