Daily Update: Russia Loses 860 Troops, 7 Tanks and 50 Artillery Systems in One Day

Russia’s military lost 860 troops, seven tanks, two air defense systems, and four multiple launch rocket systems over the past day, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on March 13.

Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, total Russian combat losses are estimated at approximately:

Ukrainian military officials also reported 154 combat engagements across the frontline during the past 24 hours.
The heaviest fighting was recorded in the Huliaipole (28 attacks), Kostiantynivka (28 attacks) and Pokrovsk (27 attacks) directions.
During the same period, Russian forces carried out one missile strike using a single missile, as well as 78 airstrikes, dropping 292 guided aerial bombs.

In addition, Russian forces launched 9,112 attack drones and conducted 4,231 strikes on Ukrainian positions and populated areas, including 201 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems, according to the report.
Earlier, reports emerged that Ukrainian forces made tactical advances near Kupiansk, Oleksandrivka, Huliaipole, and the Kostiantynivka-Druzhkivka direction.
The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) noted that geolocation data from March 10 showed Ukrainian troops clearing a substation north of Kivsharivka, southeast of Kupiansk, Kharkiv region.
