Drone Strikes Target Key Russian Afipsky Oil Refinery in Krasnodar Region

Drones targeted Russian Krasnodar and the Afipsky Oil Refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar region, Andrii Kovalenko, head of Ukraine’s Center for Countering Disinformation, reported on February 10.

The Afipsky Oil Refinery is one of Russia’s key refineries, with an annual processing capacity of 6.25 million tons of crude oil.

“It is critical in supplying fuel for Russian military equipment, particularly in southern operations. Its strategic location in the Krasnodar region makes it a vital logistical hub for the distribution of diesel and aviation fuel used by the Russian army,” he added.

Russian Defense Ministry claimed the downing of 15 drones overnight, 7 of which were downed in the Krasnodar region.

Earlier, Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a successful overnight strike on the Shahed drone hub in the Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Krasnodar region.
