Estonia will provide $2.35 million to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund to help restore damaged energy infrastructure and bolster energy security, according to Estonia’s Ministry of Climate, on December 23.

“Estonia’s support for Ukraine is consistent and long-term. For Ukraine, energy is not merely an economic sector, but a matter of survival,” said Minister of Energy and the Environment Andres Sutt.

The fund was established in agreement with the European Commission and Ukraine’s Energy Ministry and is managed by the Energy Community Secretariat, which says contributions are used to cover urgent needs, including equipment, spare parts, fuels, and repair services.

The ministry stated that Estonia has previously contributed a total of $728,190 to the fund through its Foreign Affairs Ministry, including $58,725 in 2023, $493,290 in 2024, and $176,175 in October 2025.

Additionally, Estonia has provided generators, transformers, and other energy equipment to Ukraine.

Earlier, it was reported that Germany had committed around $70 million to the Energy Support Fund for Ukraine to help accelerate the delivery of generators, energy equipment, and mobile thermal power plants.
