The minibuses will enhance the operational capabilities of the department, which has already conducted over 4,000 security operations and supported more than 700 international visits since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion.

“Every day, Ukraine welcomes international delegations to work together on overcoming the consequences of Russia’s aggression and advancing toward a just peace. Ensuring the preparation and safety of such visits would be impossible without the Department of the State Protection, German Embassy to Ukraine wrote.

Previously, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz stated that Russian leader Vladimir Putin must not be allowed to exit the war in Ukraine on terms that could be interpreted as a success.

According to Reuters, Merz stressed that any potential peace agreement must receive explicit consent from both Ukraine and European countries to be considered viable.
