Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Ground Force has taken delivery of the Hadid-110, a new jet-powered stealth-oriented suicide drone designed to penetrate modern air defenses and strike high-value targets, according to Tehran Times on December 6.

The Hadid-110, known within the IRGC Ground Force as “Dalahu,” is described by Iranian state and military-linked media as a loitering munition built on a low-observable airframe with faceted angles intended to reduce radar cross-section while maintaining high subsonic speed.

The drone uses a jet engine rather than a propeller, shortening flight time to the target and compressing the window in which opposing air-defense systems can detect, track, and engage it.

It is launched from a ground ramp using a solid-fuel rocket booster, which removes the need for runways or large fixed infrastructure and allows crews to fire it from dispersed locations, a configuration that Iranian outlets present as enhancing survivability and flexibility in asymmetric operations.

Open-source technical data cited by Ukrainian defense outlet Militarnyi from a publicly available US Army database, and mirrored in other specialist publications, indicate that the Hadid-110’s mini jet engine gives it a cruise speed of up to 510 km/h, a range of roughly 350 km, and a service ceiling of nearly 9,144 meters.

The drone reportedly carries a warhead of about 30 kilograms and has an endurance of up to one hour, placing it in the class of tactical attack UAVs optimized for single-use strikes against air-defense batteries, radar sites, command centers, and critical infrastructure.

Earlier, it was reported that Russian state media revealed a large drone production facility in Yelabuga, Tatarstan, manufacturing Iranian-designed Shahed-136 drones under the Geran-2 designation and underscoring how central these munitions are to Russia’s strike capability against Ukraine.
