Born in Kharkiv and now working in Milan, Strelyaiev-Nazarko created paintings that were used as prints for the clothing in the collection. One of his works, Paramnesia, was reinterpreted for the collection.

In the runway version, some elements of the painting were altered—most notably, one of the lambs depicted in the original artwork, which wore rubber boots typical of rural life, is now shown wearing luxury boots adorned with Louis Vuitton’s signature monogram.

Expressing his gratitude to the Louis Vuitton team for the collaboration, Strelyaiev-Nazarko wrote:

“My warmest thanks to Nicolas Ghesquière and Florent Buono for your trust and generosity, and for inviting me into the process behind such a beautiful collection. It was a real pleasure to see my work through your vision and from such a new perspective. This has been a truly memorable and meaningful experience for me.”

The high-fashion dialogue between Louis Vuitton and Ukrainian art is mirrored on the small screen, where Ukrainian designers have become a central fixture of global pop culture.

The fifth season of Netflix’s hit series Emily in Paris, which premiered on December 2025, shifted the narrative from the streets of Paris to Rome. As the story followed Emily Cooper’s Italian transition, it simultaneously brought Ukrainian fashion into the global spotlight. Designs by several Ukrainian brands appeared among the show’s most talked-about looks.

Throughout the fifth season, costume designer Marilyn Fitoussi integrated multiple pieces from Ukrainian labels, suh as Ruslan Baginskiy, BALYKINA, Blazy Shower, BetterMe Store and GUZEMA Jewelry.

On March 5, the international feature film Couture will make its debut in Ukrainian cinemas, following its world premiere at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival.

Directed by Alice Winocour, a French filmmaker with Ukrainian roots, the film weaves the ongoing war’s realities into the storyline set within the global fashion industry. Featuring Angelina Jolie in the lead role, Couture also marks the international acting debut of Yuliia Ratner, a model born in Zaporizhzhia.
