Ukrainian communications company HIMERA has delivered a batch of its electronic warfare–resistant tactical radios to a European NATO member state, marking a major step in the company’s international expansion.

In a statement shared by the company, HIMERA said the unnamed NATO country’s defense ministry had received the systems after a full cycle of testing and training.

“This is an important stage for our company, as we continue to strengthen cooperation with international partners in developing secure and reliable communication systems on the battlefield,” HIMERA noted.

As part of the defense order, HIMERA conducted comprehensive training sessions for the customer’s communications and military personnel to ensure seamless system integration.

Field tests showed the radios performed effectively under electronic warfare conditions, earning positive evaluations from the client.

The systems were praised for several core attributes:

  • Low detectability in the radio spectrum, enhancing operational security;

  • Strong resistance to jamming and interference;

  • Simple and rapid setup, allowing quick deployment in combat zones;

  • Extended battery life, enabling continuous communication during long missions;

  • Adaptability to evolving battlefield conditions.

HIMERA’s collaboration with NATO allies comes as the company scales its domestic and international output. Earlier in 2025, it signed a partnership agreement with Canadian quantum technology firm Quantropi, under which HIMERA will integrate post-quantum encryption into its tactical radios.

Quantropi will serve as the exclusive distributor in the United States and Canada, promoting the systems across NATO and allied markets.

The European NATO country that received the systems is reportedly considering expanding deployment of HIMERA radios across additional military units following successful evaluations.

Earlier, Ukraine’s DELTA digital command-and-control system served as the main platform for coordinating more than 100 unmanned aerial, surface, underwater, and ground systems during NATO’s REPMUS 2025 exercise, according to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

The system, already combat-tested since 2022, demonstrated full compatibility with NATO standards and is now deployed across all levels of Ukraine’s Defense Forces after successful interoperability tests.
