Cyber specialists from the partisan movement ATESH have carried out an attack that disrupted the operations of Russia’s largest commodity exchange, a platform responsible for 99% of the country’s raw materials trading.
This was reported by ATESH via Telegram on August 20.
“Our specialists disabled the Kremlin’s key raw materials exchange, where the main resources of Putin’s regime are traded,” the statement reads.
Spimex.com is Russia’s biggest commodity exchange, processing 99% of organized trades in oil and petroleum products, natural gas, coal, timber, metals, construction materials, and agricultural goods.

In their statement, ATESH stressed: “Today this exchange is one of the pillars of Putin’s bloody regime, which is waging war in Ukraine and killing its own citizens.”
“We deliberately aimed our strike at the very heart of Putin’s economy. Every day, millions of petrodollars pass through here, fueling the Kremlin’s war machine. Today, that pipeline has been shut off for a while,” ATESH concluded.
Earlier, partisans in Sevastopol uncovered a Russian command post directing airstrikes on southern Ukraine.
Located at the former Sevastopol Aviation Plant, now a branch of the state-owned Aviakomplekt, the facility repairs helicopters for Russia’s Defense Ministry and serves as a key hub where targets are chosen and combat flights are planned.
