Authorities in Poland have neutralized a drone operating over key government sites, including the Belweder presidential palace and nearby Parkowa Street, according to Prime Minister Donald Tusk on September 15.

The incident occurred earlier today, prompting a swift response from the State Protection Service.

Two Belarusian nationals have been detained in connection with the event. Polish police are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the drone operation.

On September 12, Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski, during a joint press conference in Kyiv with Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, said that Warsaw does not see grounds to sever diplomatic relations with Russia, despite ongoing tensions and recent drone incursions into Polish territory.

Previously, it was reported that Sikorski has called on NATO and the European Union to consider intercepting Russian drones and missiles over Ukraine, following recent violations of Poland’s airspace.
