The deadliest incident occurred overnight in Vilniansk, where a Russian drone struck a private home, killing a married couple.

Zaporizhzhia itself was targeted by multiple aerial threats, all of which were intercepted by air defense forces. Russian troops also attempted to strike the region’s energy infrastructure. As a result, around 12,000 subscribers and one boiler house supplying heat to the Zavodskyi district were briefly left without power. Electricity was restored within two hours.

In addition, a dog shelter in Zaporizhzhia was damaged during a Russian strike on February 6. Acting mayor and city council secretary Regina Kharchenko said many animals were injured.

She also published a video showing the aftermath of the strike, which reveals damaged buildings, enclosures, and at least one dead dog.

The injured animals are being transported to veterinary clinics, where they are receiving necessary care.

Earlier, Russian attacks on a residential area of Zaporizhzhia killed two 18-year-olds and injured at least seven others, including a 15-year-old girl who was reported to be in critical condition.

Ivan Fedorov said the strike occurred as residents were heading home. He added that three of the wounded were being taken to hospital, describing the condition of the 15-year-old as “extremely serious.”
