“This morning, the aggressor attacked administrative buildings in Novhorod-Siverskyi and Pryluky. Fires broke out at the impact sites. Rescue teams and all necessary services are engaged and working,” said Vyacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration.

Police reported that civilian infrastructure, nearby residential buildings, and vehicles sustained damage as a result of the strikes. In Pryluky, preliminary information indicates that there are injured individuals, though the number of casualties is still being assessed.
Law enforcement, emergency responders, and medical teams are working at the scene.

The latest strikes follow previous large-scale drone attacks on the region that caused civilian casualties and widespread destruction. In an earlier incident, Novhorod-Siverskyi was targeted by a wave of approximately 20 Shahed drones, resulting in the deaths of four civilians—two men and two women—and leaving seven others injured.
Among the wounded was a 10-year-old girl who was transported to a children’s hospital in serious condition.
According to Chernihiv Regional Administration head Vyacheslav Chaus, one of the injured remained in critical condition, while others were reported to be in moderate condition.
The attack also caused extensive damage across the town, including to civilian infrastructure and medical facilities.
