Russian Drone Strike Terrorizes Sumy, Kharkiv and Odesa Region, Killing Guard and Injuring Two People

A Russian drone strike hit a warehouse on the outskirts of the Sumy and Odesa region overnight, killing a 32-year-old man, and injuring at least two other people Ukrainian Police and regional authorities reported on March 6.
According to preliminary information, the victim was working as a security guard at the facility when the drone struck, igniting a fire.

Emergency services, including firefighters, police, and paramedics, rushed to the scene to contain the blaze and assess the damage.
Meanwhile, Russian drones struck the Odesa region overnight, damaging an energy facility and destroying a two-story house, according to regional governor Oleh Kiper. At least two people were injured, with one requiring hospitalization.

In addition, Russians attacked the Saltivsky district of Kharkiv with drones.
“The strike damaged the roof, elevator shaft, and facade of a 9-story building, smashed windows in neighboring buildings and a kindergarten. Eight cars were damaged. Rescuers rescued a woman with a disability. According to preliminary data, 1 person was injured due to severe stress,” the State Emergency Service (SES) reported.

Earlier, Russia launched a drone attack on Odesa and the surrounding area, reportedly using Shahed-136 UAVs. The strikes targeted energy facilities, port infrastructure, and civilian sites.
As a result of the attack, a 73-year-old man was killed, and another local resident sustained moderate injuries.
