SBS Operators Disable Russian Buk-M1 System Amid Heavy Electronic Warfare, Video

Operators of the 413th “Raid” Battalion of Ukraine’s Forces of Unmanned Systems (SBS) have destroyed multiple high-value Russian military assets near the industrial outskirts of the Novopavlivka, Donetsk region, despite active electronic warfare interference. The operation was confirmed in an official report released by the unit itself on July 30.
The SBS operators identified a Buk-M1 surface-to-air missile system concealed among the ruins of an industrial site. The first strike forced Russian personnel to abandon the position, while a second strike—directly hitting the radar antenna—disabled the launcher completely.
“Operators of the SBS eliminated high-value equipment despite intense enemy electronic countermeasures,” the unit stated.
Additional strikes successfully targeted other Russian assets, including:
A 2S1 “Gvozdika” self-propelled howitzer;
A towed howitzer;
An armored personnel carrier (APC) with soldiers riding on top;
A Ural military truck;
A KAMAZ transport vehicle;
A UAZ light utility vehicle.
The battalion noted that Russian radio-electronic warfare (EW) systems failed to prevent precision targeting and strikes.
Earlier, it was reported that the 413th “Raid” Battalion executed a precision FPV-drone strike that damaged a Russian Buk-M1 self-propelled launcher, valued at approximately $45 million. The radar component was disabled, likely rendering the air defense system inoperable.
