Pilots from the 9th “Kairos” Battalion of the 414th Unmanned Systems Brigade “Magyar’s Birds” struck two Russian air defense systems in the occupied part of the Donetsk region, the commander of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert Brovdi, reported on April 10.

According to him, a Tor surface-to-air missile system was destroyed near Mariupol, while a Pantsir system was hit near Zuhres.

“I will release video confirmation in the next compilation. These are the 10th and 11th enemy air defense systems destroyed during the first ten days of April,” Madyar said.

The Tor system is designed to counter a wide range of aerial threats, including drones and cruise missiles, and is widely used by Russian forces to defend against Ukrainian UAV operations.

The Pantsir system is considered one of Russia’s more modern and critical air defense assets. According to Ukraine’s Security Service, the cost of a single Pantsir system is estimated at between $15 million and $20 million.

Earlier, Ukrainian forces struck two Russian air defense systems from the S-300V complex in the Zaporizhzhia region during a coordinated operation involving multiple units, Lasar’s Group reported on April 10.

The operation began with the destruction of a Russian Palantin electronic warfare system using drones operated by Lasar’s Group.

With enemy electronic interference suppressed, Ukrainian forces moved to the next phase—targeting air defense assets.

Strikes were then carried out against a 9A83 launcher of the S-300V system and a 9S32 multi-channel missile guidance radar associated with the same complex.
