Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces (SOF) executed a special operation near the railway station of Dzhankoy in Crimea on the night of August 21, according to their official Telegram channel.

The operation targeted Russian rolling train warehouse carrying fuel and lubricants.

As a result of the operation, the logistics of the Russian southern group of forces in Crimea have been significantly disrupted, according to SOF.

Previously, it was reported that Ukrainian defense forces have destroyed a Russian freight train carrying fuel tanks in the occupied part of Zaporizhzhia region, disrupting railway connections used for supplying Russian troops.

According to activist Petro Andriushchenko, the incident occurred between Urozhayne and Tokmak. Following the initial strike, the train derailed and was further targeted with additional aerial systems.

In the past, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) had also carried out a drone strike against two Russian ammunition depots in the town of Bilokurakyne, located in the temporarily occupied Luhansk region.

According to the SBU, Bilokurakyne is situated on a key railway line used to transport ammunition from Russia to frontline positions, including the Pokrovsk sector. The operation targeted this supply route to disrupt the flow of munitions to Russian forces.
