Ukraine's Zhytomyr Region and the US State of Indiana Sign a Memorandum of Cooperation
On Thursday, September 5, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb in Kyiv and signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Zhytomyr region and the state of Indiana.
“Another important partnership document was signed today, the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Zhytomyr region and the state of Indiana. The document envisages the development of economic ties and investments, strengthening of trade relations and exchange of experience in the agricultural sector and high-tech production,” Zelenskyy wrote on Telegram.
Zelenskyy noted that several European countries have already taken patronage over Ukrainian regions. Specifically, Denmark is supporting the Mykolaiv region, Germany is assisting the Chernihiv region, and the Czech Republic is helping the Dnipropetrovsk region.
