Ukrainian Drones Hit 1,300 km Inside Russia, Damaging Shahed Depot, Satellite Images Confirm

Satellite imagery has confirmed six strikes on a Shahed storage terminal in Russia’s Tatarstan region, more than 1,300 kilometers from Ukraine.
The images, published by the OSINT community Dnipro Osint, show visible damage to the facility, including roof repairs and the removal of a large “VTB” sign that had previously marked the warehouse.

According to the report, the attacks were carried out by long-range drones of the Security Service of Ukraine’s “A” Special Operations Center on August 9 and August 12, 2025. The first strike, on August 9, involved the Ukrainian drone “Liutyi,” which successfully hit the terminal. A second strike followed three days later.
The damaged complex, referred to as the Deng Xiaoping logistics terminal near the Alabuga Special Economic Zone, was reportedly used by companies supplying goods and industrial components to Russia, including materials linked to Shahed drone production.
Comparative satellite images released by Dnipro Osint illustrate the extent of the damage, showing six impact points on the roof of the storage facility.
Ukraine’s Security Service has not provided additional details on the operation beyond confirming responsibility for the strikes.
Earlier, Ukrainian drones struck the Unecha oil pumping station in Russia’s Bryansk region for the second time in just over a week, disabling a key hub of the Druzhba pipeline that supplies crude to Europe.
The 14th Regiment of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces carried out the August 21 strike, following an earlier attack on August 12 that destroyed multiple pumping units and technical buildings.
