Ukrainian Forces Disable Russian S-400 Radar in Crimea With Precision Strike, Video

Ukrainian military intelligence (HUR) reported a successful strike on a Russian 91N6E radar system, part of the S-400 Triumph air defense network, in temporarily occupied Crimea on the night of August 28.
“Another Triumph system on the peninsula has been 'blinded, '” the agency stated on August 29, sharing black-and-white drone footage that appears to show the moment of impact.
Explosions in occupied Crimea were reported by monitoring groups on the night of August 28. In the morning, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported the downing of 11 drones on the peninsula and 22 in the Black Sea area.
‼️🇺🇦🇷🇺Ukraine’s intel forces just took out Russia’s S-400 in Crimea, striking its 91N6E radar, the “eyes” of the S-400 system that can spot targets 600 km away and track 300 at once.

This attack is the latest in a series of operations targeting components of the S-400 Triumph system. In late June, Ukrainian drones successfully struck air defense equipment in Crimea, damaging radar units and other critical elements of the system.
The S-400 Triumph, a state-of-the-art air defense system, is valued at around $1.2 billion and is capable of intercepting a wide range of aerial threats, from cruise missiles to drones and fighter jets.

On August 28, HUR successfully targeted a Russian warship armed with Kalibr cruise missiles in the Azov Sea, forcing the vessel to retreat from combat operations.
The operation was executed by HUR’s Department of Active Operations in collaboration with its special forces unit, the “Ghosts.” The target was a Project 21631 Buyan-M missile corvette, a key Russian Kalibr carrier, stationed near the coast of Russian-occupied Crimea.
