Ukraine’s Defense Forces carried out a series of strikes against Russian military targets overnight on February 3, as part of efforts to reduce Russia’s offensive capabilities, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

According to the General Staff, on the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia region near the village of Komysh-Zoria, Ukrainian forces struck a Russian training center used for preparing FPV drone operators and producing FPV drones.

Another strike in the Zaporizhzhia region targeted a concentration of Russian troops near the settlement of Khliborobne.

In addition, as reported by General Stuff, on February 2, Ukrainian units hit a gathering of Russian personnel near the village of Terebrene in Russia’s Belgorod region.

In Donetsk region, on temporarily occupied territory near the village of Baranivka, Ukrainian forces recorded a successful strike on a Russian electronic warfare station.

The General Staff also confirmed the destruction of a Russian TOS-1A Solntsepyok heavy flamethrower system, which had been struck on February 2, 2026, in Belgorod region.

Russian losses and the full extent of the damage are still being assessed.

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Defense Forces also carried out a series of precision strikes against key Russian military assets in the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia region.

As part of broader efforts to weaken Russia’s offensive capabilities, Ukrainian units destroyed an Osa surface-to-air missile system near the settlement of Semenivka. According to preliminary information, the system was hit directly.

Ukrainian forces also struck several critical Russian logistical and support sites in the occupied territory. “The location of the enemy’s maintenance unit of a special forces brigade near Tokmak, the material and technical supply warehouses of the artillery brigade near Okhrimivka, and the facilities of the 76th Air Assault Division in the Kyrylivka area were hit,” the General Staff said.

Earlier, Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, the commander of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, described a concept focused on reducing the direct exposure of Ukrainian troops on the front line while significantly increasing the use of long-range strike capabilities. His remarks were published on his official channel.
