Zelenskyy: Ukraine Can Hit 3,000 km Into Russia—No US Weapons Involved

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed claims previously published by The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) that Washington had lifted restrictions on Ukraine’s use of long-range Western weapons to strike Russian territory, he said in a during a press conference on October 23.
“I don’t know who’s writing what. We have never used American weapons for long-range strikes inside Russia,” Zelenskyy said. “We have used different weapons with good capabilities, but only within combat zones or during preparations for combat missions.”
“Ukraine can strike deep into enemy territory with its own long-range weapons at a distance of 150 to 3,000 km,” he stated.

Earlier, WSJ reported that Ukraine carried out a Storm Shadow missile strike on a plant in Russia’s Bryansk region, citing sources who claimed the Trump administration had lifted key restrictions on such attacks.
Donald Trump denied the report but clarified that his comments referred only to American-made weapons.
Previously, it was reported that Volodymyr Zelenskyy told European leaders that Ukraine is in talks with European countries that possess Tomahawk cruise missiles and pressed for tighter sanctions enforcement and the use of frozen Russian assets, according to his address to the European Council.
