The latest figures bring Russia’s total estimated losses since February 24, 2022, to approximately 1,332,950 personnel.

According to the report, Russian forces have also lost 11,906 tanks, 24,500 armored fighting vehicles, and 41,117 artillery systems since the start of the full-scale war. Additional losses include 1,763 multiple launch rocket systems and 1,357 air defense systems.

In the air domain, Russia has lost 435 aircraft and 352 helicopters. Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces have destroyed 267,589 operational-tactical drones and 4,579 cruise missiles. Naval losses remain at 33 vessels and two submarines.

Logistics and support equipment losses continue to rise, with 93,274 vehicles and fuel tankers destroyed, along with 4,151 units of specialized equipment.

Over the past day alone, Ukrainian forces also destroyed 265 vehicles and fuel tankers, along with one additional unit of specialized equipment. Ukrainian defenders reported a total of 138 combat engagements across the front line during the same period.

Russian forces continued active operations across multiple directions, with the highest number of attacks recorded in the Pokrovsk, Huliaipole, and Lyman sectors.

Earlier, BBC reported on May 1 that the combined confirmed war deaths from Russia’s Bashkortostan and Tatarstan regions have exceeded the Soviet Union’s total losses during the Afghanistan war, with more than 18,000 fatalities recorded.

The data, based on open-source tracking and official confirmations, suggests the true number may be significantly higher, as many casualties remain unaccounted for due to battlefield conditions and reporting gaps.
