Acording to ATESH on November 4, the sabotage destroyed a transformer, causing significant disruptions to the electricity supply of the strategic aviation facility.
“As a result of a targeted intervention, a transformer was destroyed, leading to serious disruptions in the power supply to the strategic facility,” the movement stated.
The Voronezh aircraft plant plays an important role in supporting Russia’s Armed Forces, carrying out the production, repair, and modernization of heavy military transport aircraft, including the Il-76.
The facility also manufactures key aviation components used in aircraft production and maintenance.
The plant repairs, upgrades and produces military transport aircraft, including the Il-76. The outage disrupted operations at a key facility supporting Russia’s military aviation.

According to ATESH, disruptions to the plant’s operations directly affect the logistics and operational capabilities of Russia’s military transport aviation.
The partisan movement emphasized that attacks against infrastructure supporting Russia’s defense industry are intended to disrupt military production and force Moscow to divert resources toward repairing damaged facilities.
“Such acts of sabotage behind enemy lines disrupt the production chains of Putin’s military-industrial complex and force the regime to divert resources to restoring infrastructure. We continue our systematic efforts to identify and neutralize facilities that support aggression against Ukraine,” Atesh stated.

The reported sabotage comes amid continued Ukrainian operations targeting Russian military infrastructure, including air defense systems, command facilities, and logistical sites in Russian-occupied Ukrainian territories.
On November 3 and overnight into November 4, Ukrainian forces carried out strikes against several Russian military targets, including two Pantsir air defense systems in Russian-occupied Crimea, a drone command post in the Zaporizhzhia region, and a military supply depot in the Luhansk region.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on November 4 that the operations targeted a Pantsir-S2 surface-to-air missile and gun system, along with another Pantsir air defense system in temporarily occupied Crimea. Ukrainian forces also struck a Russian firing unit on the peninsula.
