"Work on key military targets of the Russian aggressors continues," the General Staff stated.

The reported targets included:

  • a storage, preparation, and launch site for Russian strike drones near Donetsk;

  • a Russian Mesh-network relay in the Black Sea;

  • command posts near Prydorozhnie in the Luhansk region and Ocheretyne in the Donetsk region;

  • a logistics depot near Ocheretyne;

  • a Russian field artillery depot near Verkhnioosykove in the Donetsk region.

The General Staff noted that systematic strikes against drone infrastructure are intended to reduce Russia's ability to attack civilian infrastructure across Ukraine.

Ukraine's campaign against Russian drone and command infrastructure has also reached the occupied south and targets deep inside Russia.

On October 4 and overnight into October 5, Ukrainian forces hit a command post and a drone storage facility in the temporarily occupied Berdiansk area of the Zaporizhzhia region. A Russian military repair unit near Liubymivka and a communications hub in the Donetsk area were also struck.

Overnight on October 4, long-range drones attacked Russia's Khanskaya military airfield in the Republic of Adygea, about 500 kilometers from Ukrainian-controlled territory, hitting a Su-35 multirole fighter and a Su-34 fighter-bomber.
