The military said the operation reached targets near the Izvaryne checkpoint, located more than 205 kilometers from the line of combat. According to the brigade, this represents one of the deepest publicly reported drone strikes against Russian logistical infrastructure conducted by Ukrainian tactical drone units in occupied Luhansk region.
Commenting on the operation, 3rd Army Corps Commander Brig. Gen. Andrii Biletskyi stated: “In response to the enemy’s claims of the complete occupation of Luhansk region, we are announcing an operation to control logistics routes in Luhansk region and Eastern Slobozhanshchyna. Luhansk, Starobilsk, Alchevsk, Brianka, and Kadiivka are now under the control of the UAVs of the Third Army Corps.”

The corps said the mission was planned and led by Oleksandr Ivantsov, commander of an attack drone platoon and a recipient of the Hero of Ukraine award. Military officials described the operation as part of broader efforts to disrupt Russian supply routes across occupied territories.
Earlier, Ukraine launched its new “Logistic Lockdown” program aimed at disrupting Russian logistics networks deep behind the front line.
According to Digital Transformation Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, the initiative expands Ukraine’s medium-range strike capabilities and focuses on targeting supply routes, ammunition depots, equipment, and command centers used to support Russian operations.
