According to statements made in a podcast interview with Militarnyi published on May 22, Matthias Lehna, Vice President of Quantum Systems and Managing Director of Quantum Frontline Industries (QFI), said the company has continued expanding its production capacity in Germany after receiving an export license in mid-February.

The Linza 3.0 drones are being produced exclusively for Ukraine’s military needs. According to Lehna, the company currently employs 105 workers and plans to further expand staffing levels to meet contracted production volumes.

“Currently, 105 employees work at the enterprise, and we are going to increase them even more so that we can fulfill the total contract volume that we have to deliver,” Lehna said in comments cited by Militarnyi.

According to the report, the first serial-production batches of Linza 3.0 drones have already arrived in Ukraine. The systems are currently being used for training Ukrainian servicemembers and are expected to begin operational deployment on the battlefield in the near future.

The Linza 3.0 was developed by the Ukrainian company Frontline Robotics. Drones from the initial production batches are equipped with an AI-based visual-inertial navigation module and a gyro-stabilized day-and-night camera featuring digital and hybrid zoom capabilities.

The drone uses a 12-inch frame and can carry payloads of up to 4 kilograms at ranges of up to 15 kilometers while remaining airborne for as long as 60 minutes. According to Militarnyi, the system also incorporates its own communication channel designed to maintain stable operation in contested electronic warfare environments.

Quantum Frontline Industries plans to manufacture at least 10,000 Ukrainian-designed drones for Ukraine’s Defense Forces over the next year at its German production facilities, according to the report. Frontline Robotics will provide warranty servicing and technical support for the drones inside Ukraine.

Earlier, German defense company ARX Robotics announced it would deliver several hundred additional GEREON unmanned ground vehicles to Ukraine under a new contract focused on expanding robotic logistics and casualty evacuation capabilities near the front line.
