Ukrainian defense forces have confirmed precision strikes on multiple Russian military targets, including a drone storage facility in Rostov region and a command post near the city of Sudzha in Russia’s Kursk region.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the operation resulted in the destruction of approximately 6,000 FPV drones stored in containers near Rostov-on-Don.

The figure is based on preliminary assessments of a strike carried out in recent days. Several other containers storing drone components were also reportedly damaged.

In a separate strike on the night of February 9, Ukrainian forces targeted a command post belonging to a Russian airborne unit near Sudzha, located in Russia’s western Kursk region. The General Staff confirmed that the command infrastructure was directly hit, though no casualty figures have been disclosed.

Additional damage was reported on Ukrainian territory currently under temporary Russian occupation. Near the settlement of Novooleksiivka in the southern Kherson region, Ukrainian units struck and destroyed an ammunition warehouse used by Russian forces. The extent of the losses is still being assessed.

The Ukrainian military emphasized that these actions are part of an ongoing campaign to degrade Russian logistical and command capabilities across both occupied territories and within the Russian Federation itself.

Earlier, Ukraine confirmed a series of strikes targeting Russian military infrastructure, including a logistics depot in occupied Zaporizhzhia, a UAV control center in Donetsk region, and a missile support facility at Kapustin Yar in Russia’s Astrakhan Oblast—used to launch Oreshnik ballistic missiles at Ukrainian cities since 2024.
