A List of All the Russian Strikes Against Ukraine This Week, and It’s Only Wednesday

Russia has increased its attacks on Ukrainian cities this week, targeting civilian areas and leading to widespread deaths and destruction.

In a series of strikes, residential neighborhoods, schools, medical facilities, educational institutions, hotels, vehicles, supermarkets, and private homes were targeted.

Lviv

Wednesday, September 4

7 people, including 3 children, were killed in the attack. 64 people were injured.

Two children, aged 10 and 15, and 15 adults have been hospitalized. Five patients are in critical condition. Twelve people have been rescued by the State Emergency services.

Approximately 50 houses, two schools, and two medical facilities were damaged. Residents from six homes have been temporarily displaced.

Kryvyi Rih

Wednesday, September 4

5 people, including a 84-year-old woman, a 70-year-old man, and a 10-year-old girl, were injured in the attack.

The attack damaged a hotel, several high-rise buildings, four educational institutions, and multiple cars. A pharmacy and several stores have been destroyed.

Poltava

Tuesday, September 3

53 people were killed, 298 injured in the attack.

Russia launched two ballistic missiles on an educational institution, resulting in severe damage to the Institute of Communication, the hospital, and adjacent buildings.

A three-day mourning period has been declared in Poltava region.

Zaporizhzhia

Tuesday, September 3

2 people, a 38-year-old woman and an 8-year-old boy, were killed in the attack.

The explosion’s blast wave, along with debris, also damaged nearby buildings, injuring a 43-year-old man and a 12-year-old girl.

Russia launched a barrage of rockets, airstrikes, and drone attacks.

Zaporizhizhia region

Tuesday, September 3

Towns of Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Malynivka, Novodanylivka, and Poltavka were attacked 313 times with 198 UAVs of various types, 100 artillery shells, and three anti-aircraft missile attacks.

Kyiv

Monday, September 2

3 people were injured in the attack. 1 person was hospitalized.

Russian forces used approximately 20 missiles of various types, including X-101s and Korean KN-24/Iskander-M ballistic missiles. A drone strike was also deployed over Kyiv and its suburbs.

Debris from the interceptions fell in the Holosiivskyi, Svyatoshynskyi, Dniprovskyi, and Shevchenkivskyi districts, causing fire to a warehouse, and the boiler house of an educational institution.

Ruska Lozova and Kharkiv

Monday, September 2

11 people were injured in the attack. A 68-year-old man sustained fragmentary injuries from this attack.

A guided aerial bomb hit Ruska Lozova, damaging a private residence.

In Kharkiv, two guided aerial bombs struck a garage cooperative near residential buildings in the Kyiv district, causing injuries to seven, including a 60-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man in serious condition, and five women in moderate condition.

Sumy

Sunday, September 1

18 people, including 6 children, were injured in the attack. Among them a boy aged seven and a girl aged 13.

Russian forces targeted a residential area with a rocket, damaging facilities that house a center for social and psychological rehabilitation of children, an orphanage, and several apartment buildings.

No children were reported present at the institution during the attack.

Kharkiv

Sunday, September 1

41 people, including 5 children and medical personnel, were injured in the attack.

Russian forces launched approximately 10 strikes on Kharkiv, targetting three locations: the Kharkiv Palace of Sports, a shopping center in the Saltivskyi district, and an area near Hydropark in the Kyivskyi district.

At least six strikes were recorded near the sports complex, with some hitting the ground nearby.

For the first time since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv with the Grom-E1, a hybrid weapon combining a missile and a guided aerial bomb.
