Daily Update: Russia Loses 830 Troops, 21 Artillery Systems in One Day

Russian forces lost an estimated 830 personnel and 21 artillery systems over the past 24 hours, according to figures released by Ukraine’s General Staff on February 19.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, Russia’s total estimated combat losses have reached approximately 1,256,910 troops.

Updated cumulative battlefield figures include:

  • tanks: 11,682 (+1);

  • armored combat vehicles: 24,054 (+3);

  • artillery systems: 37,384 (+21);

  • MLRS: 1,649 (+1);

  • air defense systems: 1,302 (no change);

  • aircraft: 435 (no change);

  • helicopters: 347 (no change);

  • operational-tactical UAVs: 138,330 (+406);

  • cruise missiles: 4,314 (no change);

  • warships and boats: 29 (no change);

  • submarines: 2 (no change);

  • vehicles and fuel tankers: 79,036 (+117);

  • special equipment: 4,072 (no change).

Across the front line, 237 combat engagements were recorded during the same period.

Earlier, Sweden’s military intelligence warned that Russia could be capable of launching a new war against another country within approximately one year, even while continuing its full-scale war against Ukraine.
