The General Staff also reported 279 combat engagements across the front line over the past day. The most intense fighting was recorded in the Pokrovsk sector, where Russian forces launched 87 attacks, and in the Huliaipole direction, which saw 42 assaults.
According to updated operational data, Russian forces carried out 41 airstrikes, dropping 123 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they launched 5,583 loitering munitions and conducted 3,802 artillery and rocket strikes against Ukrainian military positions and populated areas, including 144 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems.
Earlier, Ukraine’s commander of Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, outlined a strategy aimed at pulling Ukrainian personnel farther from direct frontline combat while dramatically expanding long-range strike operations.
“Today we are destroying three enemy battalions every single day. Three battalions daily. That is not enough,” Brovdi said.
