Daily Update: Russia Loses 890 Troops and 48 Artillery Systems in One Day

Russian forces suffered 890 casualties over the past 24 hours, including both killed and wounded, according to Ukraine’s General Staff in its March 30 update.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, Russia’s total estimated losses have reached approximately 1,296,700 personnel.

Over the same period, Ukrainian officials report that Russia has lost 11,824 tanks, including four destroyed or damaged in the past day, as well as 24,317 armored combat vehicles.

Artillery losses continue to mount, with 48 systems eliminated in the latest reporting period, bringing the total to 39,049.

Additional losses over the past 24 hours include one multiple launch rocket system, 2,471 operational-tactical drones, and 183 vehicles and fuel tankers.

Other categories remained unchanged, including aircraft (435), helicopters (350), air defense systems (1,337), cruise missiles (4,491), naval vessels (33), submarines (2), and specialized equipment (4,105).

Ukrainian forces recorded 147 combat engagements across the front line during the reporting period.

The heaviest fighting was concentrated along the Pokrovsk axis, which continues to serve as one of the most active and contested sectors of the battlefield.

Earlier, Ukrainian Air Assault Forces reported that Ukrainian forces regained control of nine settlements and approximately 440 square kilometers of territory during a counteroffensive operation on the Oleksandrivka axis.
