Daily Update: Russia Loses 960 Troops, 44 Artillery Systems, and Over 1,500 Drones in One Day

Russia’s occupying forces lost 960 troops killed and wounded over the past 24 hours, Ukraine’s General Staff reported on April 13.
Since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, Russia’s total estimated losses have reached approximately 1,312,140 personnel.

Ukrainian forces have also destroyed 11,861 tanks, including two in the past day, along with 24,386 armored combat vehicles, with two more eliminated during the same period.
Artillery losses continue to rise, with 39,915 systems destroyed overall, including 44 in the last 24 hours. Russian forces have also lost 1,728 multiple launch rocket systems and 1,346 air defense systems, each increasing by one over the reporting period.

Russia’s aircraft and helicopter losses remain unchanged at 435 and 350, respectively. At the same time, Ukrainian forces continue to inflict heavy losses on unmanned systems, bringing the total number of destroyed operational-tactical drones to 235,394, including 1,528 downed in the past day.
Logistical losses remain significant, with 89,099 vehicles and fuel tankers destroyed, including 185 over the past 24 hours, along with 4,123 units of special equipment. Russia’s naval losses remain unchanged at 33 ships and boats, with two submarines also reported destroyed.
In total, 107 combat engagements were recorded over the past day, as Ukrainian Armed Forces continued to repel Russian attempts to advance.

Despite the declared Easter truce, Russian forces launched 7,702 strike drones and carried out 1,202 attacks on Ukrainian settlements and military positions, including 20 strikes using multiple launch rocket systems.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russian leader Vladimir Putin would have to sacrifice between 300,000 and 1 million lives to fully occupy the “Donbas ” region. Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine will not withdraw its troops from the region.
