Ukraine’s Armed Forces carried out a series of coordinated long-range strikes hitting several strategic Russian military and industrial sites, according to an official statement released by Ukraine’s General Staff on November 25.

The attack involved units from the Rocket Forces and Artillery, operating jointly with the Special Operations Forces, Navy coastal missile units, and the Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces, who used a combination of Bars missile drones and Neptune cruise missiles.

According to the Ukrainian military, multiple explosions and large fires were observed at the Beriev Aircraft Company in Taganrog, Russia’s Rostov region.

The plant is responsible for the repair and modernization of several high-value aircraft, including the A-50 airborne early warning fleet and the Tu-95MS strategic bombers.

Ukraine’s military reports that the strike likely damaged or destroyed the experimental A-60, a rare Soviet/Russian airborne testbed for laser weapon systems, which has been stationary at the facility for years.

A separate hit was recorded at Atlant Aero / Molniya, a UAV-production enterprise located in the same city.

In addition to the aerospace facilities, Ukrainian forces reported successful strikes on two major energy targets:

The Sheskharis oil terminal in Novorossiysk—one of the largest oil export hubs on the Black Sea and the Tuapse oil refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar region.

Preliminary information indicates that at the Novorossiysk terminal, the attack hit oil loading arms used to pump crude into tankers, as well as a launcher from an S-400 air defense system.

The extent of damage at all target sites is still being assessed.

Ukraine’s Armed Forces said the operation is part of a sustained campaign to degrade Russia’s offensive capability, logistics, and economic resources fueling the war.

“Joint combat operations against key Russian military targets will continue until Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine ends in full,” the military noted.

Earlier, reports emerged that at least one missile struck a residential building in the southern Russian resort city of Gelendzhik overnight as local air defenses opened fire on incoming drones along the Black Sea coast.
