Maxar Restores Satellite Access for Ukraine as U.S. Resumes Intelligence Sharing

The American aerospace company Maxar Technologies is reportedly restoring the Global Enhanced GEOINT Delivery (GEGD) accounts for Ukrainian users. Militarnyi stated, citing several users of the service confirmed.
The outlet added that GEGD program, managed by the U.S. government, provides access to commercial satellite imagery that has been designated and collected for government use.
On March 11, the United States resumed intelligence sharing and security assistance to Ukraine, which was confirmed by a joint statement published on the website of the Ukrainian president following discussions between U.S. and Ukrainian delegations in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
This follows Ukraine’s agreement to the U.S. proposal for a 30-day temporary ceasefire.
Additionally, U.S. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard confirmed that the pause in intelligence sharing with Ukraine has been lifted.

Previously, on March 5, CIA Director John Ratcliffe stated that the United States has temporarily halted intelligence sharing with Ukraine.
