“A 46-year-old man was killed, while women aged 43, 49, 61, 87, and 91 were injured as a result of Russian attacks on Zaporizhzhia city and the Zaporizhzhia and Polohy districts,” Fedorov wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to the regional administration, Russian forces carried out a total of 608 strikes against the region during the reporting period.

These included 15 airstrikes targeting Zaporizhzhia city and the settlements of Ternuvate, Nove Pole, Lisne, Barvinivka, Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Sviatopetrivka, Rizdviane, and Vozdvyzhivka.

Russian troops also launched 356 drone attacks, primarily using FPV drones, striking communities such as Rozumivka, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohiria, Varvarivka, Solodke, and Dobropillia.

Local authorities said emergency services were responding to the aftermath of the attacks, documenting damage and providing assistance to affected residents.

Earlier, reports emerged that Russian leader Vladimir Putin has ordered the military to continue its offensive toward Zaporizhzhia and to expand a so-called “buffer zone” along Ukraine’s northern border.
