In the early hours of November 10, Russian forces launched a drone attack on Ukraine, deploying a record number of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, a total of 145 drones, primarily Shahed-type and others of unknown models, were detected and tracked during the attack.

The UAVs were launched from multiple locations, including Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Orel, Bryansk, and Cape Chauda in Crimea. Ukrainian air defense forces responded swiftly, with air defense systems, aviation units, electronic warfare teams, and mobile fire units working together to counter the threat.

As of 9:30 AM, Ukrainian officials confirmed that 62 drones had been successfully shot down across several regions, including Kyiv, Odesa, Kharkiv, Poltava, and others. Additionally, 67 drones were lost in various regions, while another 10 UAVs left Ukrainian airspace, heading towards Moldova, Belarus, and Russia.

The attack affected multiple regions, including Kyiv, where air alerts were issued after 4 AM due to the incoming Shahed drones. Fortunately, no casualties or significant damage were reported in the capital.

However, the Odesa region suffered considerable damage. Residential buildings, private properties, and infrastructure were impacted, although no fatalities were confirmed. At least one person was reported injured in the aftermath of the airstrike.

In Odesa, emergency services responded promptly to mitigate the damage. The authorities reported that garages and stores were destroyed, and emergency crews worked to secure the area. Several homes were also damaged, with local officials setting up a support center for residents affected by the attack.
