On the same day, January 22, Russian forces carried out FPV drone strikes on Kozacha Lopania and Ruska Lozova in Kharkiv region, leaving two dead and one injured.

Vyacheslav Zadorenko, the head of the Derhachi City Military Administration, reported that at the entrance to Kozacha Lopania, Russian forces targeted a civilian vehicle that was carrying two local volunteers delivering bread to residents still in the settlement. The vehicle was completely destroyed, and the two men, aged 35 and 63, were killed instantly.

Around the same time, another drone strike targeted a civilian car in Ruska Lozova. Two men were inside the vehicle and were able to escape the attack. One of the men, a 70-year-old local resident, later sought medical attention, but his condition was not considered life-threatening.

Earlier, it was reported that Russia initiated another disinformation campaign, attempting to shift blame for its own war crimes onto Ukraine.

The Russian propaganda group “International Public Tribunal” released a new “report,” falsely accusing Ukraine of “genocide” and “crimes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces” in Pokrovsk, Donetsk region.
