Initial reports from the Regional Military Administration and local prosecutors indicate that 11 people were injured in the blast.

Among the victims is a 6-year-old girl. While the child is receiving medical care, officials stated there is no immediate threat to her life.

All injured individuals have been transported to the hospital for treatment.

Medical staff reported that a 50-year-old man remains in serious condition following the explosion. Emergency services and relevant departments are currently working at the scene to manage the aftermath of the strike and determine the full extent of the damage.

The Shostka District Prosecutor’s Office has launched a pre-trial investigation into the incident. Prosecutors and law enforcement agencies are documenting the results of the attack as part of proceedings regarding war crimes under the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Russian forces launched an overnight strike on March 28, 2026, which damaged a maternity hospital and several residential buildings in Odesa.

The attack resulted in the deaths of two people and left 11 others injured, including a child.

Emergency crews were forced to evacuate 81 patients and staff members from the medical facility while firefighters worked to extinguish blazes at various infrastructure sites across the city.
