Russian Military Faces Record 1,770 Casualties in One Day
Russian forces in Ukraine suffered their highest single-day losses since the war began, with 1,770 casualties reported on November 10, and total number exceeding 710,660, according to the Ukrainian General Staff report on November 11.
Russia continues to deploy untrained troops to the front lines as its forces face mounting monthly casualties amid ongoing offensives in eastern Ukraine.
On October 28, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the number of Russian casualties in Ukraine reached 650,000, showing that Russia lost more than 60,000 men in just 15 days.
Earlier, British Intelligence estimated that in September the Russian forces saw the highest daily losses since 2022, with 1,271 casualties daily.
This new figure surpasses the previous daily record of 1,740 set on May 13.
The reported total for Russian casualties now stands at 710,660, which includes those killed, wounded, missing, or captured.
In addition, Estonian Colonel Ants Kiviselg, head of the Estonian Defense Forces Intelligence Center, stated that North Korean troops are likely to face significant losses in Ukraine, potentially surpassing those of Russian forces.
