Russian Shelling Kills Two Civilians and Injures Six in Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk Region

Russian forces killed two civilians in Nikopol as a result of artillery shelling. Two women were killed in the attack, according to Oleksandr Hanzha, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.

He said that a total of six people have been injured in the city since morning due to continued enemy attacks. A 65-year-old woman is in critical condition.

It was also clarified that another resident of Nikopol was injured overnight. The 44-year-old man will receive outpatient treatment.

Previously, a Russian ballistic missile hit the city of Dnipro, killing at least four people and injuring dozens, acting head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Administration Vladyslav Haivanenko reported releasing initial photos from the scene.

“There are already four dead in Dnipro. My sincere condolences to their loved ones… There are 22 wounded. Doctors are providing all necessary medical care,” he said, expressing sympathy to the families of the victims.

Later, the number of wounded had risen to 40, with 11 people listed in critical condition, Haivanenko added.
