Russian forces on the Pokrovsk front are experiencing an acute shortage of equipment, according to the ATESH resistance movement on September 18.

Agents embedded in the 1442nd Motor Rifle Brigade report that the situation has become so dire that commanders are ordering troops to confiscate vehicles from civilians, disrupting logistics and increasing battlefield losses.

The shortage extends beyond armored vehicles and trucks to even basic motorcycles, which are often used for personnel transport and ammunition delivery. The lack of mobility has fueled a rise in looting and theft within the ranks. One ATESH agent recounted that in his unit, a motorcycle was taken from a wounded soldier, leaving him behind without assistance.

ATESH stressed that these incidents reflect a systemic crisis in the Russian army’s supply chains.

“Russian command once again proves that the lives of both soldiers and civilians mean nothing to them. Their occupation army is falling apart at the seams,” the movement said.

Earlier, it was reported that ATESH partisans carried out a sabotage attack on a railway junction near Yekaterinburg, saying the operation disrupted train traffic and undermined Russia’s military supply routes.
