“The Buyers Can Do Whatever They Want”: Serbia Offers Ammunition That Could Be Sent to Ukraine

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has announced that Serbia is producing a massive volume of ammunition and is prepared to supply it to any nation in Europe.
Speaking to the German political magazine Cicero on October 30, Vučić detailed the scale of their production.
“Our warehouses are full of ammunition, and we are producing more, especially mortar shells. We are producing more ammunition than France... ammunition is needed in Europe,” he stated.
The President then extended a formal offer to the bloc.

“Therefore I have offered our friends in the EU the opportunity to enter into a purchase and sale agreement with us and take everything we have. This would be a phenomenal contribution we could make to European security,” Vučić explained.
When directly asked whether this ammunition could ultimately be used to support Ukraine's defense, the Serbian leader maintained a commercial stance, responding that “the buyers can do whatever they want with them,” while noting that the EU has not yet responded to his proposal.

Vučić took the opportunity to reaffirm Serbia's military neutrality and its condemnation of Russia's attack on Ukraine. He pointed out that Serbia has provided the most financial and humanitarian aid to Ukraine among all Balkan states. He also highlighted domestic actions against pro-Russian activity, recalling that individuals involved in “creating training camps to prepare pro-Russian forces for unrest after the elections in Moldova were arrested in Serbia.”
He concluded by expressing confusion as to why “good relations with Russia should block” Serbia's accession path to the EU, stating his belief that the country will achieve EU membership within the next eight years.
Earlier, during a major military parade in Belgrade, Serbia publicly displayed Russian-made Krasukha electronic-warfare systems, specifically the Krasukha-2 and Krasukha-4 models. This event offered the first official visual evidence that Moscow had delivered these advanced systems to the Serbian military.
