The United Kingdom will contribute an additional $13 million to aid in the restoration of Ukraine's energy infrastructure, which has been severely damaged by Russian attacks.

Cooper reiterated that both the UK and NATO are focused on achieving a “just and lasting peace.”
She further stated that the UK would allocate an additional £10 million to support the repair of Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
“[Russian leader Vladimir] Putin wants to plunge Ukraine into darkness, and we will continue to work to switch the lights back on,” said the UK Foreign Secretary.
Meanwhile, Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide announced that Norway will contribute an additional $500 million to a NATO initiative that funds the purchase of US-made weapons for Ukraine’s military.

This funding will go toward the Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List, a program initiated by the US and NATO, which allows allied countries to finance the delivery of American-made weapons and equipment based on Ukraine's most urgent needs, as identified in collaboration with Kyiv and the Alliance.
Eide explained that the contribution will be split into two packages: one with Germany and Poland, and another with Germany and the Netherlands. He emphasized Norway’s significant role as one of the primary contributors to Ukraine’s defense efforts under this initiative.
Earlier, Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin stated that Ireland will provide around $134 million to Ukraine, with the funds earmarked for non-lethal military aid and assistance to bolster the country’s energy infrastructure.
