According to the brigade, the vehicle was identified and targeted by the unmanned systems battalion “STAR.” The footage indicates that the armored vehicle had been abandoned by Russian troops near a defensive line reinforced with anti-tank obstacles known as “dragon’s teeth.”
The K-4386 “Typhoon-VDV” is a 4×4 armored platform developed on the KamAZ-4386 chassis. The destroyed vehicle appears to have been equipped with the “32V01” remote-controlled combat module, which includes a 30mm 2A42 automatic cannon and a 7.62mm PKTM machine gun.
The system is designed for remote operation from inside the vehicle, where the operator uses a control panel integrated with a ballistic computer and targeting interface. The onboard system provides real-time video feeds, firing adjustments, and diagnostics of the combat module’s subsystems.

The Typhoon-VDV platform is considered relatively uncommon in Russian service, particularly in configurations equipped with heavier weapon modules such as the 30mm cannon. Its loss adds to a growing number of Russian armored vehicles destroyed by Ukrainian drone units operating along the frontline.
Earlier, Ukrainian drone operators struck two Russian air defense systems in the occupied Donetsk region, destroying a Tor system near Mariupol and damaging a Pantsir near Zuhres, according to Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces commander Robert Brovdi.
