The operation was carried out by fighters from the SBU’s Alpha Special Operations Center, using long-range strike drones to hit the target deep inside Russian energy infrastructure.
This time, the drones struck a Lukoil-operated drilling platform at the Rakushne oil field, officially named after Valery Grayfer.

Footage recorded by the drone’s onboard camera shows a direct hit near the platform’s gas turbine unit, suggesting damage to critical power-generation equipment.
Earlier, SBU drones hit two other Russian oil platforms in the Caspian Sea—located at the Filanovsky and Korchagin fields—forcing production to halt at both sites. The latest strike marks the third confirmed Ukrainian attack on Russian offshore energy assets in the region this month.
