Ukrainian drones have struck key gas distribution stations in the temporarily occupied Luhansk region, targeting facilities in Shchastia, Sievierodonetsk, and Novopskov. The operation was reported by Yurii Madyar, Commander of the Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems.
“Fuel in the gas stove is not so blue anymore, and soon even the chandelier will start flickering… So this is what happiness looks like. Eyes and Sting,” Madyar remarked.
According to him, the Shchastia gas distribution station had been the main supplier for the Luhansk TPP , which has now been forced to switch to coal. The strike on the Sievierodonetsk station jeopardized gas supplies to the chemical industry, including the “Azot” plant. Another facility in Novopskov was also hit.

He noted that the operation was carried out overnight on September 25, by drones of the 14th Unmanned Systems Brigade.
At the same time, a major EuroChem fertilizer plant in Russia’s Krasnodar region was forced to halt operations following a drone strike in the early hours of September 25.
An employee told ASTRA the site “came under attack” between 2:30 and 3:30 a.m., prompting a suspension of work while teams inspected the grounds for explosive hazards. Another worker at the Belorechensk facility confirmed that the plant was attacked during the night.
Earlier, Gazprom’s Astrakhan Gas Processing Plant halted motor fuel production after a fire broke out during a drone strike.
