Ukrainian Forces Liberate Yehorivka in Dnipropetrovsk Region, Eliminating Dozens of Russian Troops

The fighters of Ukraine's separate assault brigade “Skelya” have freed the village of Yehorivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region after a successful close-quarters operation.
The Strategic Communications Directorate of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on October 26 that the operation was launched after a large group of Russian infantry, identified as a reconnaissance and sabotage group, entered the village in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
“The assault groups of the ‘Skelya’ brigade went in for the sweep. The Russians remained hidden in houses until the very end and did not reveal themselves, even when they saw our soldiers nearby,” the fighters emphasized.
The brigade released footage of the intense street fighting. In a calculated maneuver, the Russian forces were surrounded, then hit with a barrage of grenades and grenade launchers before being eliminated in fierce close-range combat. The operation resulted in the liquidation of dozens of Russian soldiers both inside Yehorivka and on its outskirts.
The “Skelya” fighters successfully repelled all attempts by the surrounded Russian units to break out of the cordon. Yehorivka is now entirely under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Earlier, following a major assault, Ukrainian forces successfully drove Russian troops from the strategically important village of Torske near Lyman.
